SureWest Broadband partners with land developers, builders and corporate IT customers to deliver high-speed communications access via a 100 percent fiber optic network, fixed wireless and/or wirelines. An example of such a partnership is the McClellan Business Park, where SureWest Broadband is the preferred telecommunications provider. In 2003, SureWest Broadband began targeting the underserved small and medium business enterprises in some specific areas of Sacramento with a fiber optic-based Internet service. The service is an Ethernet-based product providing symmetrical Internet speeds ranging from .5 Mbps to 5 Mbps per link, is hyper-speed fast--capable of speeds much faster than DSL and the traditional T1 service offerings of other companies.
Residential Services
In 2002, SureWest Broadband Residential Services was established as the most progressive and exciting bundle of consumer services marketed to select subdivisions and neighborhoods in the greater Sacramento region. SureWest Broadband was first in the Sacramento region to offer a triple-play of digital TV (including video-on-demand and pay-per-view), high-speed Internet and telephone service.
