With over 56,000 lines in service, SureWest Long Distance offers competitive long distance services to businesses and residents within SureWest Telephone’s territory. Customers experience the convenience of only one phone bill for both their local and long distance calling. They also have access to competitive interstate and intrastate packages, calling cards, and international calling through a high-quality worldwide fiber optic network. Business customers outside the SureWest Telephone service area obtain their long distance service from SureWest Long Distance.

Current Rate Plans Include:

• SureWest offers bundled discounts to customers when a package deal of more than one product is purchased. Bundled services provide value and convenience from one source. To find out more, visit the company’s Web site at www.surewest.com.
• AdvantagePlus Plan
  Calls within California are just 7 cents a minute and interstate calls are just 10 cents a minute—all day, every day (residential only). A $4.95 monthly fee applies.
• California Unlimited
  Unlimited Calling to Anywhere in California, Interstate calls are just 7¢ a minute all day, every day. This plan is available to SureWest Telephone residential customers who subscribe to a qualifying package.
• National Unlimited
  This plan is available to SureWest Telephone customers who subscribe to a qualifying package.
• BusinessAdvantage
  All calls are just 8.8 cents a minute-all day, every day (business only) for domestic long distance calls. A $7.95 monthly fee applies.
• Discounted BusinessAdvantage
  This optional calling plan offers a discounted monthly rate for long distance business calling to SureWest Telephone customers who subscribe to a qualifying package. All calls are just 8.8 cents a minute-all day, every day (business only) for domestic long distance calls. A $5.95 monthly fee applies.
• DirectConnect – Level 1 & 2
  For large business customers who use at least 25,000 minutes a month of long distance. Inbound and outbound calls are as low as 5.5 cents per minute on DirectConnect Level 2. 
• Auto$aver Plan
  25% discount when the total long distance bill exceeds $100 in a month. Applies to all services, including interstate, intrastate, international, calling card and toll free services. No sign-up necessary - discount is automatically applied to a customer’s bill. Applies to residential and business lines. (Auto$aver cannot be used when subscribing to the AdvantagePlus Plan, DirectConnect or BusinessAdvantage.)
• 14 Cents Per Minute
  All day, every day (residential and business) with no monthly fee.

SureWest Long Distance is also a contributor to the SureWest Foundation that provides funding to local nonprofit organizations. Under the program, one percent of the SureWest Long Distance revenues generated from direct-dialed calls within the United States are donated to the Foundation – thus supporting the communities served. Since, 1997, SureWest Long Distance has donated over $200,000 to the SureWest Foundation.
